Our extra-curricular highlights
Student Leadership
At Ajuga School, student leadership is fostered through two formal programs: the Student Leadership Team, which represents the student body by planning activities and voicing student ideas, and the Green Guardians, who lead sustainability initiatives within the school and community. Both programs empower students to develop responsibility, teamwork, and a sense of community
Trips and excursions
At Ajuga School, we believe in broadening our students’ worldview by offering a variety of trips and excursions that extend learning beyond the classroom. These experiences are carefully linked to the curriculum, enriching students’ understanding and making learning more meaningful. Through these opportunities, students gain confidence, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation of the world around them.
Swimming
The Hilltop pool operates in Terms 1 and 4, providing weekly water safety sessions during these terms. Additionally, a 2-week intensive swimming program is offered for junior and middle school students in Term 2.
Creative and performing arts groups and showcases
Ajuga participates in the Shining Stars program, supported by The Arts Unit and hosted at the Campbelltown Arts Centre. The program nurtures students' creative and performing arts skills through workshops in dance, music, and visual arts, offering opportunities to showcase their talents at events like the Shining Stars Showcase.
Hilltop Art Show
Since 2023, The Hilltop Schools have come together annually to celebrate students' creativity through the Hilltop Art Show, showcasing their skills across various art forms and highlighting their artistic talents within the community.
