AjugaEats
AjugaEats provides all students with access to a wholesome and nutritious cooked breakfast each Friday morning, an initiative supported by Foodbank. Each class is issued with an order form on Thursdays for students and staff to make their selection.
On alternate days, each class has access to a selection of cereals, Up and Go liquid breakfast, toast and spreads for students to access a wide selection of breakfast foods.
At Ajuga we know that having breakfast has been shown to have a positive impact on factors such as physical and mental health, social skills, concentration, behavior, attendance and academic outcomes and strongly believe that having access to breakfast has a positive impact on the health-promoting environment of the school.
Note: Due to the impacts of Covid19 and our student kitchen renovation has been delayed, but it WILL happen!
Paddock to Plate
Ajuga School is very proud of our committment to our Paddock to Plate initative. All students are engaged in caring for our Ajuga Garden, with harvested produce and fresh eggs used in our kitchen as part of AjugaEats and classroom programs.
AjugaEats Recipe Cards
Our students have developed a range of recipes that they have tried and tested in our kitchen for you to try!
