Berry Street Education Model

In mid-2018, Ajuga School began its transformative journey from a traditional behaviour setting, to a setting underpinned by the neuroscience principles of trauma informed practice.

The BSEM Education Model supported all staff to develop an understanding of trauma-informed practice, positive psychology, and the science of learning research, with real strategies and practices that could be used in the classroom. We want to spread these learnings beyond our school to yours!

The Berry Street Education Model (BSEM) is an educator-designed and evidence-led framework that empowers you to create classrooms where every student is ready to learn and able to thrive.

From 2022, the Hilltop Schools (Ajuga School, Campbell House School and Glenfield Park School) have partnered with Berry Street to offer regular and ongoing Foundation and Masterclasses to staff across South Western Sydney. Check in here regularly to find out about the lastest course offerings.
